Whats going on today on Space Station

Normally the International Space Station crew uses water made as a byproduct of the station's electrical system or water launched to the space station; however, NASA only has ten more flights scheduled. After 2010, the only way to go to the space station will be to use the Russian Soyuz spacecraft. NASA plans to have their next generation of space transportation, the lunar-capable Orion vehicle, ready four years after the shuttle program ends.

It can convert six gallons of waste water to portable water
I think it is a nasty idea but needed to survive in space.

Space Station

The crews on the shuttle/station complex worked to install racks and transfer equipment and supplies to the station. The primary goal of the STS-126 mission is to provide additional capability for the station to house astronauts and to increase the station crew size from three to six by spring 2009. Wednesday's work brought the station closer to that goal.
There is expedition 18 is going on right now on nov 20,2008

Jules the talking robot head

Jules, the result of their combined efforts, is a bodyless talking robot head that can make use of its 34 under-skin servo motors in order to move its facial "muscles," such as lips, eyebrows or forehead.Jules was developed my UK scientists. They took the level of artificial expressions to the next lvl by doing it accurately.
